Summary
The opening session of a bespoke series, built entirely from a feedback form in which staff named the repeated tasks that cost them time. Each task is presented as a problem with two or three real ways of solving it, on the organisation’s own material, with questions after every use case. You finish with your own workflows mapped to realistic options, their limits stated plainly, and a decision on what the tailored training that follows should cover.
Course breakdown
Use case 1: Excel file comparison and ticket Reconciliation
The problem, then three options weighed against each other: the spreadsheet’s own AI agent, an AI chat working across the files, and a script or automated flow.
Use case 2: action plan Dashboard from meeting minutes
The prerequisite nobody mentions and why it decides everything else, then minutes from a transcript, minutes built to a template, and an automated minutes agent feeding a progress dashboard.
Use case 3: Document and Email formatting to Templates
In-app AI working inside the document, against a general AI chat as the alternative.
Use case 4: Service desk management and draft replies
Three levels of answer: a basic agent with a knowledge base, a chatbot with a knowledge source, and a full agent platform build.
Use case 5: Secure Document Translation
Why this one has no clean answer today, and the steps it would take: classification, automated anonymisation and private translation.
What you leave with
After the course, you'll be able to:
- Map your own repeated admin tasks to two or three realistic options each
- State the limits of each option, including the tasks AI cannot solve yet
- Decide what the training that follows should contain and who should be in the room
