The terms on which this website is published: what it is, what it is not, who owns what is on it, and where the limits of it sit. A working draft with the open questions marked in the text.

This is a working draft. Everything in it describing what this website does was checked against the code that builds it, so it is accurate about the site. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The parts that describe the terms of a paid engagement are deliberately thin, because those terms live in the contract for that engagement and not on a web page. Where something has genuinely not been decided it is marked [TO BE CONFIRMED] rather than filled in with a form of words. Please do not rely on this page until those points are settled and somebody qualified has read it.

Who publishes this website

This website is published at thevoiceofbusiness.eu by the business trading as The Voice of Business. The registered legal entity behind that trading name is The Voice of Slovak Business s.r.o., with its registered office at Zámocká 34, 811 01 Bratislava, Slovakia. The same details are on the About page and in the Privacy Policy.

What this website is

A static website. Every page is written out as a finished HTML file before publication and uploaded as a file. There is no application running behind the pages, no database, and no user accounts: there is nothing to register for and nothing to log into. That is not a detail of implementation; it is most of why this page is short. A site with no accounts has no account terms, no acceptable-use rules for content you upload, and no suspension policy, because there is no way for you to put anything on it.

What is on it, and what you may do with it

The writing, the page designs, the diagrams and the photographs on this site are the property of the business, except where a page says otherwise. The back catalogue under /archive/ is a record of material published between 2015 and 2019 and is kept as it was.

You may read the site, print pages from it, and link to any page on it. You may quote from it with attribution, which includes quoting it in an answer generated by an AI assistant. The robots.txt file on this site names fourteen AI crawlers and allows every one of them, and that is a deliberate decision rather than an oversight.

What you may not do is republish substantial parts of the site as your own work, or present material from it as though it came from somewhere else.

What the site is not

It is not advice. The articles, the glossary, the audit descriptions and the training outlines set out how this business approaches AI adoption. They are written to be accurate and they are not a substitute for professional advice on your own situation, whether legal, financial, or technical. Anything on this site that touches on regulation, the EU AI Act in particular, is a description of a published rule and not an opinion on how that rule applies to you.

It is not an offer. Nothing on this site is a binding offer to supply anything. A description of an audit or a course says what that work normally covers. What is actually supplied, on what timetable and on what terms, is whatever a signed agreement between us says, and that agreement takes precedence over every page here if the two ever disagree.

Its accuracy is not guaranteed indefinitely. Pages are dated. A page that was accurate when it was written may be overtaken by a change in the technology it describes or the law it refers to.

Some pages link to other organisations’ websites. Those sites are not run by this business, are not endorsed by it merely by being linked, and are covered by their own terms rather than these. The same is true of the booking calendar on /book-a-meeting/, which is Calendly’s page shown inside a frame, and of the chat button, which is FlowHunt’s.

Availability

The site is served as files from a hosting account. There is no uptime commitment attached to reading it, and pages may be changed, moved or taken down without notice. Where a page moves, the old address is redirected to the new one wherever that is practical.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the business is not liable for loss arising from your reliance on anything published on this site, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

This section is the one most in need of review. It is written to be honest about intent rather than to be comprehensive, and the wording a lawyer would use is not the wording above.
