One way in
Every audit starts with a scoping conversation
That is the only step to take from this page.
What the conversation establishes
- Which processes are worth examining, and which are working as they are.
- Who needs to be in the room when they are examined.
- Whether an audit is the right instrument at all. If it is not, and the answer is a training programme or a decision the organisation can take without us, you will be told that in the conversation rather than after a proposal.
Before you book
One methodology, and one way into it
Every audit starts with a scoping conversation, and there is nothing to choose between beforehand. There is one methodology, set out in full on how we audit, and one way into it.
The rate is published and the scope is not. What an audit is charged at is stated in full on pricing, and a typical engagement runs three days. What this conversation settles is what those days are spent on: which processes are worth putting inside the work, and how many days that actually comes to. That part depends on what the first two steps find, and neither of us knows it yet.
