Subprocessors

This is a working draft. The list below was read off the code that builds this site rather than compiled from memory, so it is accurate about which companies are involved and on which pages. What is not yet settled is the paperwork behind each one, and those points are marked [TO BE CONFIRMED].

What this page is

A subprocessor is another company engaged to process information on this business’s behalf. Listing them is what lets a reader see the whole chain rather than only the first link in it.

Two things make this list shorter than most. There are no user accounts on this site and no database behind it, so there is no stored customer record for anybody to process. And since 24 September 2026 nothing in the first three rows below loads at all until a visitor agrees to it. See Cookie settings for the switches and the cookie policy for what each one stores.

The list

Google Ireland Limited: analytics

What it does here. Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-DRPGK79MSP, loaded from www.googletagmanager.com.

Where. Every page of the live site at thevoiceofbusiness.eu, and nowhere else. The review copy used to check work before publication carries no analytics at all.

What it receives. An identifier stored in your browser, the pages you looked at, the approximate location your connection comes from, and the kind of device and browser you are using.

When. Only after analytics is switched on. Nothing is requested from Google before that, not even an empty ping.

[TO BE CONFIRMED: the data processing terms in place with Google, the retention setting on the property, whether Google Signals and advertising features are switched on, and the transfer mechanism for anything leaving the European Economic Area.]

FlowHunt: the chat button

What it does here. The chat button in the corner of the page, loaded from app.flowhunt.io.

Where. Every page, including the review copy. It is the first third-party JavaScript to run inside this site’s own pages, which is why it is named separately rather than folded into a general line about widgets.

What it receives. Whatever you type into the chat, plus an identifier stored in your browser so a conversation holds together as you move between pages.

When. Only after the functional category is switched on.

Calendly LLC: the booking calendar

What it does here. The booking calendar on /book-a-meeting/, shown inside a frame pointing at calendly.com.

Where. That one page. It is a frame rather than Calendly’s embed script, so none of their JavaScript runs inside this site’s pages.

What it receives. Your IP address when the frame loads, and whatever you enter to book a slot: typically a name, an email address and a chosen time. Cookies it sets are under their domain, not this one, and cannot be read from here.

When. Only after the functional category is switched on. Until then the page shows a placeholder and a direct link to the same calendar on Calendly’s own site, which you can follow instead.

The hosting company: serving the files

What it does here. Holds the published files and serves them to anybody who asks for a page. The domain thevoiceofbusiness.eu resolves to Websupport, and the site is uploaded there over FTPS.

What it receives. Whatever its web server records about a request, which normally includes the IP address it came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser’s own description of itself. This happens for every visit and is not something a visitor can switch off, because it is the act of asking for a page rather than anything added on top of it.

[TO BE CONFIRMED: what Websupport records, how long it keeps those records, where they are held, and under what agreement. This is the oldest open question on this list and the only one that applies to every visitor regardless of what they consent to.]

What is not on this list

No font service, no content delivery network, no advertising network, no social media widget, and no tag manager. The typefaces, stylesheets, images and search index are all served from this site’s own address. The search boxes run entirely inside your browser: the page downloads this site’s own index file and filters it on your device, and what you type is never transmitted.

The enquiry form on /talk-to-us/ has no subprocessor either. It opens your own email client with a message already filled in, and nothing is sent until you send it, so what you wrote arrives as an ordinary email from you, and no copy is kept by the website, because the website never had one.

Changes

A company added to this site is added to this page in the same change, not afterwards. That is the rule rather than an aspiration, and the reason it is worth stating is that this list was written the day after the chat button shipped rather than the day it shipped.
